During the week from February 2, 2026, to February 8, 2026, the Service Juridique provided consultations through various communication channels, addressing several key issues of concern to consumers. A total of 15 consultations were conducted using phone, video calls, e-mail, and messaging applications such as Mastodon, Reddit, Messenger, and Telegram.
Price transparency was a frequent topic throughout the week’s consultations. In five cases, consumers raised concerns about not receiving clear information regarding the total cost of their purchases. The Service Juridique advised consumers to demand a detailed breakdown of charges from vendors, emphasizing their right to understand all components of pricing under EU law.
Prawa podróżnych dotyczące imprez turystycznych were addressed in four cases. Consumers often expressed dissatisfaction with the cancellation policies of package holiday providers. The legal counsel advised these consumers to review their contractual agreements and explained the protective measures in place to ensure fair treatment, including the right to refunds or rescheduling options in cases of significant contract modifications.

The Service Juridique guided the consumers to gather sufficient evidence of the unfair practices, such as misleading claims or lack of transparency, and informed them of their rights to file complaints or request compensation for damages incurred.
There was one rare occasion where the consultation was not pursued further since the subject matter fell outside the scope of consumer protection within the EU, dealing with issues related to real estate taxation, which does not fall under our purview.
