From the period of January 19, 2026, to January 25, 2026, the Service Juridique received a total of 19 consumer consultations. The consultations occurred through various communication channels, with e-mail being the predominant mode, accounting for 8 inquiries. This was followed by 4 phone consultations, 3 inquiries via messanger, 2 through Telegram, 1 case on Reddit, and 1 conducted via video call.
The topics addressed during this period were varied, yet some issues stood out. Gwarancja na towary konsumpcyjne emerged as a common concern, featuring in 7 consultations. Consumers were guided to understand their rights concerning product guarantees and advised on effective ways to approach retailers to resolve issues with faulty items. Another significant topic was the niedopuszczalne oświadczenia zdrowotne dotyczące żywności, which arose in 5 instances. Consumers were informed about misleading nutritional information and encouraged to report such claims to the relevant enforcement bodies. Additionally, 4 consultations focused on RODO compliance, where consumers sought clarification on data protection rights. Advice was provided on how to request data correction or deletion when privacy concerns were identified.
In a minority of situations, totaling 3 cases, the issues presented were beyond our agency’s focus as they dealt with matters such as real estate taxation and services provided outside the European Union. In these instances, the consumers were gently informed that their queries were outside the agency’s jurisdiction.
